They say that running is one of the worst spectator sports, but I had such a blast watching my dad run the Marine Corp Half. It was oddly enjoyable, very festive, and incredibly inspiring, not to mention down right impressive. Dad has cheered ME on through all of life’s ups and downs, and it was neat to cheer HIM on. Watching him was another life lesson in action- that by God’s grace and hard work you can achieve just about anything you set your mind to. To “run with endurance the race God has set before us,” no matter what the race track looks like. Thanks for always cheering me on Dad!
